About Dr. Schnur

 

Dr. Nancy J. Schnur has treated patients at her private practice at 275 Madison Ave in New York City for over 25 years. During this time, Dr. Schnur and her team have provided outstanding care with personalized attention. She is dedicated to deliver optimal health, beauty, and comfort with attention to detail. She is passionate about providing you with a pleasant visit that you are proud to speak of and share.

Dr. Schnur received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, she spent a year in advanced training at Booth Memorial Hospital, since renamed New York-Presbyterian Queens. She holds professional memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), the New York State Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society. She is also an active member of a Frank Spear Study Club.

Dr. Schnur graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Afterward, she was a clinical instructor at the University of Michigan and in private practice as a hygienist.

Dr. Schnur is a native of Warren, Ohio and a second-generation dentist as her father practiced in Warren for nearly fifty years. She and her husband Dr. Peter Sherman, an oral surgeon, have three adult children, and live in Westchester County with their Cavalier King Charles spaniel Georgie Girl.
